Situated in Russell, Bellrock Lodge offers refined guest-unit accommodation paired with sweeping bay views and thoughtful modern comforts. Owned by Catherine & Stuart Howard since 2021, the lodge mixes heritage location with contemporary upgrades, making it appealing whether you’re cruising around Northland or seeking a peaceful retreat.
Where You Stay
Bellrock Lodge consists of **four spacious ensuite guest units**, each with its own private entrance and balcony. All rooms overlook the bay, allowing guests to take in expansive water vistas from dawn to dusk.
The property was first established in 1971, in what was then a relatively undeveloped Russell. Accommodation buildings were added in 2012, designed to maximise those views. Since the Howards took ownership in 2021, all rooms have been refurbished to a high standard.
