Sovrano Estate & Restaurant

Sovrano Estate was established in 2021 by the Loggia family, rooted in Italian tradition. Drawing together Marzia’s experience from her family in winemaking, and Andrea’s heritage in liqueurs, the estate aims to build a long-term legacy in the Bay of Islands region.

Formerly known as Ake Ake Vineyard, Sovrano has rebranded under its own name to reflect its wine, a growing portfolio of liqueurs, and its Italian restaurant onsite.

Wines, Liqueur & Cellar Door

• Sovrano produces wines from its vineyard in Kerikeri, and liqueurs including its signature limoncello among other varieties.
• The Cellar Door is open for wine and liqueur tastings. Staff guide you through current wine releases and the family history—from Italian roots to modern wines in Northland.
